Advertisement Essay: Final Draft

Hallmark is showing a motivational advertisement in which the quote states the word "confidence."  For example, the little girl is raising her hand which shows that she has confidence.  I am fascinated by this proclamation because a price tag in value of ninety-nine cents is hanging from the statement.  They show this throught different techniques such as tone and purpose.  So the question is, how does the author show confidence in this little girl?
The author wants to state that you should be certain about anything.  The little girl is looking and listening to the teacher; you can tell that she is positive because the child's facial expression is expressed like she is sure of her assumption.  Also, her arm is raised high in the air.  Waiting to answer the question, she is in fact leaning in her seat.  No matter if you have second thoughts, if confidence is in you, be lofty to put about your ideas!
The tone word that best depicts this publication is proud.  I feel that the advertisement is showing proudfulness because the tenseness she is putting about makes her look greedy.  She wants to respond to the question asked by the teacher.  In addition, you can tell that she is in a safe haven which happens to be the classroom.  Nevertheless, her faith completes her steadfast ways because of her utterance to answer the question.
Showing the advertisement is not only for attention.  The advertisement is also underscoring the truth that confidence is NOT even worth a pointless penny!  If you are satisfied and headstrong, nothing will go wrong for you.  Confidence should ALWAYS be present!  It needs to be the key in everybody's state of mind!
